Music Lessons

The Music Library offers private and group lessons in Mokelumne Hill, Sacramento, and Sonora, California.

We tailor our lessons to each student, taking into account their individual goals, musical interests, and learning styles.

Playing music is extremely fun and engaging and learning music should be the same way.

Science shows the brain’s ability to retain information is at its best when someone is in a pleasant state of experience and finds a subject rewarding. Our lessons are engaging and fun not only because we want our students to enjoy their time making music but because we know that that is the way kids and adults learn best. ‍

The Ukuladies

This is a group ukulele class for both men and women who have some experience playing the ukulele but want to take their uke playing to the next level. It’s really more of a band than a class. We focus on ensemble playing, repertoire development and some music theory but really we focus on having fun .

This class is designed for people who love playing the ukulele and want a community to learn, play and grow with.

(If you don’t play the ukulele yet but are interested in learning and being a part of this class please reach out about taking private lessons first and joining the class after a short time.)
